Rabbi Chaim Richman from the Temple Institute in Jerusalem will be speaking with Joseph Good on topics dealing with the Temple and its imminent construction. Rabbi Richman will be showing the Meil, the blue or Techelet robe worn by the High Priest. This garment is the one that had the pomegranates and golden bells upon its hem. This robe was just completed in Israel and is the last item to be made to complete the vestments of the High Priest.
While we have reserved space at a couple of locations, we have had more response than we originally anticipated, especially from those outside the Houston area. Within a few days we will send further instruction on meeting place, hotels, restaurants, maps, etc. In the meantime, if you plan to fly to Houston to attend, we advise that you make flight arrangements to Hobby Airport in southeast Houston. Please let us know your plans and arrival times so that we can better serve you.
For those arriving following Shabbat on the 14th, Joseph and Debbie Good will be gathering with people for a brief teaching and visit.
Please let us know if you are planning on attending and how many will be in your party.
There is no charge for the seminar, but we would appreciate your help in meeting the expenses. Also, a love offering will be collected for Rabbi Richman and the Temple Institute.
